St. Mark’s Holy Week schedule begins tomorrow (Thursday) with a Maundy Thursday service.
The Holy Week services will not only mark these events which are central to the Christian faith, but will also be the culmination of this year’s Lent-Easter series, “The Cross and the Catechism.”
- Maundy Thursday, April 1, 6:30pm (Lord’s Supper) — Chief Part of the Catechism: The Sacrament of the Altar
- Good Friday, April 2, 6:30pm — Chief Part of the Catechism: The Sacrament of Baptism (this will be a Tenebrae service)
- Easter Sunrise Service, April 4, 7:30am — Chief Part of the Catechism: The Second Article
- Easter Festival Service, April 4, 10:30am (Lord’s Supper) — Chief Part of the Catechism: The Third Article
On Easter Sunday, there will be a breakfast following the sunrise service (beginning at approximately 8:15am). Sunday School (youth and adults together) will meet at 9:15am.
